Alberta Gold VS Cape Disappointment Beach Gold.

I had the opportunity to compare some raw beach sand from Cape D with the material we dig here in Alberta. I was surprised to see just how much black sand there was, but what was most interesting is the gold it's self was very similar to our local flour gold.

I hope this helps put into perspective the different types of conditions fine flour gold miners work with and demonstrates just how important specific fine gold recovery is in these areas.
