Rock Creek Placer Claim

First trip to the Rock Creek claim. I have high hopes for this one. It has about half a dozen adits of one sort or another along the 1 km of creek. The first hard rock gold discovery of the McKinney Camp area happens to be right in the middle of this claim. On the Victoria Crown grant. This and a fairly large Placer operation just down stream makes me think that the canyon might be great for small scale placer.
