Forging a Marking Knife - Most Versatile Design

Today I’m forging a carpenter’s marking knife, and I think this design is the best you can get — it’s one solid piece of steel, the double bevel allows for easy marking on the left or right, the flat back lies flush against wood for the best accuracy, and of course the mark is super precise.
