Exploring Old Silver Mines in Death Valley - Underground 2018

Finally I have a video about old mines where we actually go in an old mine! This is some footage from "Underground 2018", a former mine convention that took place near Death Valley in California. These are former Silver/Lead/Zinc mines worked from the late 1800s until the mid 1950s.

All mines seen here were visited with permission from the property owners as part of an organized event. We had professional-grade safety equipment including gas sensors, climbing gear, helmets, and masks. Abandoned mines can be dangerous, and I don't recommend exploring them on your own!
