Using the Jetson TK1 hardware accelerated OpenCV library to demonstrate the Canny Edge Detector. GStreamer is used to capture the Logitech c920 webcam image that is being processed. OpenFrameworks and the ofxCV add-on are used to tie it all together.
A few things to notice. First, you can see the lettering on the Tony Stark approved T-Shirt I'm wearing very clearly. That can be useful for all sorts of purposes such as computer vision. Second, notice that when the threshold values are adjusted how the trees in the painting behind me "appear". The third thing to notice is that apparently I've forgotten how to play licks in the style of Black Sabbath. I've heard practicing helps, but that seems like some sort of an old wives tale.
There are several other parameter that you can adjust, such as the size of the Gaussian blur, but I kept it simple in the video and just adjusted the high and low thresholds.
