As electric vehicle sales continue to accelerate around the world, battery charging times and operational lifespan are becoming ever more important questions in the minds of potential EV drivers. Over in China, both those concerns are becoming a non-issue as battery swapping grows in popularity. Now a US start-up is trying to follow suit in San Francisco. But will western consumers and car companies play along?
