Exploring Complex Lava Tube Mazes In Northern California

The Lava Beds National Monument is located in far Northern California, near Klamath Falls Oregon. It has some of the most complex lava cave systems in the US, with over 900 known caves. The underground systems make up a complex and confusing maze of walkways, crawls, sinkholes, chambers, and multi-level passages. It's a really fun place to visit!
