Make a Nickel Iron Battery or Edison battery

Here you can at home make a Nickel Iron battery or better known like Edison battery.

The Nickel Iron battery is made from nickel oxyhdroxide as active material on nickel foam current collector. The negative electrode is made from iron or iron powder as active material on iron plate or on stainless steel.

NOTE: Is better to use nickel oxyhydroxide from Nickel–metal hydride batteries for better performance. And also to make nickel oxyhydroxide at home can be difficult and you will not end up with good performance!

The electrolyte is 6 mol KOH
