As #BlackoutStarWarsEclipse is trending on Twitter, I thought I’d break down why Star Wars fans don’t want David Cage, the creator of Detroit Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls involved in the creation of Star Wars: Eclipse. They strongly express on Twitter that they will boycott the game if he is part of its creation. David Cage (David De Gruttola) has a history of disgusting behaviour towards minorities and fostering a toxic workplace culture. In this video I break down the 2018 lawsuit against Quantic Dream, the publication of three news outlets releasing the results of a joint investigation into the companies business practices and explain why fans are trying to get the game, set during the high republic, to be developed by another studio.
