The winter garden prep is often boring and a dull dreary place, Usually wet, messy, muddy. Does all this seem familiar? A lot of folks stay out of the winter garden and only return in the very late spring.

But the winter garden is the perfect time to get that garden preparation for spring done. It is amazing how many jobs can be done during this time. Especially if it has been dry for a few days. Getting garden preparation for winter done early will really give you an easy time in the spring garden.

The spring can be a very demanding time in the garden. Look at the winter garden preparation for potatoes, for example, this can take a huge amount of time, adding manures tot he soil. And the last thing you want is to fall behind on the fall garden preparation when you have tons of seeds to plant, seedlings to pot on and plants to plant out. Not to mention the watering and weeds. This all draws you away from the spring garden preparation.

Now is the time to get the garden preparation for planting your seeds and seedlings. Getting these little jobs done that will greatly increase your chances of a stress-free and easy start to the gardening year. It is amazing how just spending a few hours in the garden will help you to get ahead for the next growing season. Get that work done now and you will be assured a fantastic result later in the year. It is also the perfect time to catch up on all the winter garden preparation that you fell behind on.
