In this video, our friend Jamie Page helped us to turn a huge 3.5kg blank of HDPE into this plate. This is by far the thickest blank that we've ever made (around 30mm) and it was a bit of a beast to get into the mould. The little crack that appeared meant that we had to cut the blank to a slightly smaller size, but it still worked great. HDPE turns super nicely and the great thing about it, is that you don't need to sand it! Stay tuned for our recycled plastic pens and pen blanks coming to our online shop soon!
