I fail to make a heat map of my grill

This was supposed to be an easy use for those thermal cameras I've been reviewing, but it turns out to be really hard to map the heat distribution on a grill! For one thing, the flame is too hot for most of the cameras to handle. Then when you can see it, all you see is the flame. If you put something over the flame to spread out the heat, it kills the fire. All in all, this one is basically a failed project. Maybe we can try it again some time with better methods!
