Why using AdBlock on YouTube IS NOT PIRACY!! Linus’ take is WRONG! (LTT ANGRY RANT)

Are adblockers unfair? Do adblockers steal revenue from creators? Linus Sebastian, the head and founder of YouTube giant Linus Tech Tips, got into a heated debate with his fans and r/pcmasterrace about the question whether Ad Blockers are ‘literally piracy’. He’s defending his position by claiming that ‘if you don’t have a Netflix subscription, you can’t watch their content’. Fans claim that they prefer to support channels by buying merch, which Linus discarded as well. Saying that you can’t watch netflix or skip the entrance to a circus, just because you bought a T-shirt. In this video I break down my thoughts on ad blockers, their justification and the reasons why people keep using them. I hope you enjoy this little rant.
