Today I made a heart shaped Dorodango using graphite.
I had to finish it at night after picking up my kids, but it still shines beautifully in deep black.

Because it’s not round, it’s harder to apply strong pressure, so it’s not a mirror finish.
But it’s still truly beautiful ☺️

【Materials】
Clay 65g
Sand 37g
Water 13g

【Steps】
1 Knead well about 10 minutes
2 Shape into a heart, keep it in a bag, and roll with a cup or bottle to firm it up
3 Take it out of the bag and continue rolling with a cup or bottle
4 Using water mixed with 2 teaspoons of water and 2 drops of olive oil, shape with the rim of a bottle while making the surface slightly muddy
5 With the same water, polish for about 15 minutes using a cup or bottle
6 Mix graphite and clay about half and half, then apply
7 Rub it in firmly with your hands
8 Gently polish with a bottle or cup
9 Put the remaining graphite and clay powder on your hands and polish the surface, occasionally shaping with a cup
10 Repeat until the surface starts to dry, then gently wipe off the powder with a cloth. Done
