What is Salado Pottery? A Short Documentary About Ancient Arizona

Almost a year in the making, in this video I tell the story of what was going on in Arizona 700 years ago in what has been called the "Salado Phenomenon". The pottery I am working to reproduce is a type that sprang up during that time and here I tell the story about what inspired this type of pottery and where did the people that make it go.

A whirlwind tour of the Southwest and ancient Arizona. In this video I visit 11 different prehistoric ruins and 8 different museums across Utah, New Mexico and Arizona.
