Managing money isn't easy, and it's about time we stopped pretending that it is.
Once we learn something, we often forget how difficult the learning process was.
Then when we try to help our friends, we struggle to understand why they have such a hard time. It seems so easy for us now.
And when it comes to handling money I see this a lot online, especially in Facebook groups.
People go through the process of learning finance and then get to a place where everything is going well. They're crushing debt, saving money, and investing for the long term. And that part is great!
But unfortunately, they often then start shaming other people who are struggling or shopaholics. They quickly forget what it was like before they ironed their own money situation out.
Well, today I've done a video on that same topic. It's for people who have things figured out and are trying to help others AND for those still struggling.
I hope this video encourages you to have empathy for the people around you and if you're the one struggling, I pray that it helps you to recognize you aren't alone.
