Just a short video showing how to control a TXV with compressed air. It's useful for manual fine tuning if you don't have an electronic expansion valve (EEV), and the seals won't contract and leak to the outside word like they do with a needle valve (which is especially important for cryo stuff).

In some cases this will allow for more fine-tuning than an electronic expansion valve, since the discrete steps of an EEV limit its maximum resolution, which becomes a problem since most EEV's are made for larger systems.

It's a bit niche, but I think there are some situations where it might be a useful trick to know.
