Checking Out The 2023 Solar Eclipse

This was just a quick look at the sun during the October 2023 eclipse. I built a couple simple viewers, but didn't get to see all that much due to cloudy weather.
I also checked out some of the ham radio bands with my software-defined radio. An eclipse like this can change the way radio waves propagate around the earth, so it brings out a lot of amateur operators and experimenters who want to see how far they can reach.
Hopefully I'll have more from the next eclipse in the spring of 2024!
