Finding Gold! Exploration pays off! Part 2

Finding Gold! Today I find a beautiful Quartz seam with lots of visible gold. I was going to spend the day exploring the claim, but early on in the day I stumble across a quartz outcrop which catches my eye, after a bit of digging I find my first piece with VG (Visible Gold) So I put aside my plans for the day and spend the day digging. I find multiple pieces of the quartz with gold from the seam.

This hydrothermal seam shows free milled gold on quartz. It is also associated with pyrrhotite gold or and arsenopyrite gold ore. This new gold discovery shows most of the visible gold on quartz, gold specimens directly on the quartz.

Part 3 of this series will be us going back with larger tools to get more of the material from this spot.
