Ten Senate Republicans sent a letter to President Biden today proposing a $600 billion compromise on the next round of Covid relief. The proposal includes stimulus checks, although more "target." The Republicans are proposing $1,000 payments with lower income limits. They agree with Biden's $160 billion assistance to fight Covid-19. They also agree that federal unemployment benefits be extended at the current $300 a week. They do not support a $15 hour minimum wage. They will be releasing more details tomorrow.
