Making fire from a beaker of water!

How do I do it? Chemistry of course! This is the classic Bleach + HCl + Calcium Carbide Trick.

10-4-09: I've actually gotten a decent amount of questions about how this works, so I'll do my best to explain it. I first added some Hydrochloric Acid to a container of sodium hypochlorite solution (bleach) to create chlorine gas. I then added Calcium Carbide, which reacts with the water in the solution to produce acetylene gas. The acetylene reacts with the chlorine gas and causes the acetylene to ignite.
