Trying Meshtastic For The First Time

So I finally tried that Meshtastic thing people have been talking about. It's a short-range communication system for text messages that operates on unlicensed frequencies, so it's legal for anyone to use. Apparently I seem to be the only person in my neighborhood who's using it! Since I can't find anyone to message with, this is mostly a build and brief overview video for the Lilygo T-Deck.

I've ordered some more LoRa modules to play with (https://amzn.to/3Vi17N6), so hopefully I can get more out of this in the future. Even if I'm the only person in my area with one of these, I can potentially use it with some of my old Pocket PCs or something. Stay tuned for possible updates!
