He believes it is vitally important that the kids of today get their hands in the soil and become the gardeners of tomorrow. Like every other lesson learned in life, this should start at the school years.

Without projects like this where will allotments be in the future? Its great for children to understand where their food comes from and who knows you may have the next Monty Don or Geoff Hamilton on your hands.

With a reduction in the size of waiting lists, and the building companies trying to get hold of land. It is imperative that we hold on to this historic past time. Without Supporting The Next Generation Of Gardeners we will lose them forever, and with it the opportunity to grow our own organic food. and a great way to exercise.
