Introducing the Sail Train! Or possibly the fail train, given how much trouble I've had with this contraption!

After seeing photos of sailing rail rigs around the world, I decided to try it myself on a local abandoned railway. I attempted to build a few different sail rigs, including sloop, square sale, and lateen / crab claw. Unfortunately none of them performed all that well. Also, the amount of wind needed to move this little cart is the same amount of wind that shreds my tarp sails and breaks my spars.

This might be our last railroad project for a while, as the abandoned track we use for testing is being torn up!
