How hard can it be to turn a dryer into AC and heating? (Lets find out)

So we have tackled the usefulness of EV batteries in second life projects but summer is coming and I need to keep my office cool. We 'could' buy an AC unit but we want to learn and customise the system for my needs. Besides geothermal should be more effective than air to air anyway.
