Can You Build Your Own Belt Driven Air Compressor Similar to the Keene KAC1? I Think So!

This is the latest in a series of videos I've made on this topic. I've created a playlist to add these too and will update it as the project progresses.

The Canadian dollar is worth just 0.73 USD at the time of posting this, so buying a pre-assembled Gas powered belt driven KAC1 from Keene would cost over $1700 Canadian before shipping.

The idea here is that an engine driven oil free air compressor like the T80 or the Keene KAC1 could be built out of a store bought ultra quiet air compressor that comes with an aluminum tank such as the California air tools 2010A compressor.

The compressor could be run straight from a small generator if you didn't need to pack it too far, or like in this video I am modifying it to run directly off a gas engine. I was planning on using the Honda GX50 or a similar clone as soon as I get the parts replaced on this one to get it back to running propperly.

Leave a comment if you have an helpful input, I'd love to hear it!

Thanks for watching everyone!
