The Problem With Private Credit

Private credit consists of loans - similar to bonds - except they are non-publicly traded loans created by non-bank entities like private credit funds or business development companies to fund private businesses. This asset class is promoted to retail investors for its high yields and stable returns, but as you can probably guess, I’m skeptical.
