Investigating A Mysterious "Gold Mine" In Western Wisconsin

This tunnel was supposedly a gold mine, but the geology and other clues don't really make sense. It may have been one of the scam mines from the 1880s that were common in this area, before anyone really understood geology. It might have also been re-used as a root cellar or brewery cave in the 1930s. Either way, it's a bit of a mystery!
