Three Brothers Stole Scrap. It Was Cesium-137.

In October 1994, three brothers broke into the Tammiku radioactive waste repository in Estonia looking for scrap metal. One unknowingly put a highly radioactive cesium-137 source in his jacket pocket. Twelve days later, he was dead. This [HALF-LIFE HISTORY] explores the Tammiku radiation accident, how an orphan radioactive source exposed an entire family and the devastating effects of acute radiation exposure.
