The Commodore SX-64 was the first color portable computer, with a 5" CRT screen, built-in floppy drive, and fold-out keyboard. It originally cost almost $1,000 in 1983! I found a slightly beat up one at an estate sale for much less than that, and was able to bring it back to life.
