Under Water 8" Dredge Footage and Goodbye to Alaska.

I wanted to make sure I included some good underwater video of the 8" gold dredge sucking up material and of breaking apart the bedrock that seemed to contain some gold as well. After a good long dive, we did our final cleanup and packed up the gold camp for the end of the gold mining season up here in Alaska. Thanks Alaska for the many memories and good times!

What's next? After a quick pitstop to visit my family in Canada, I'll be living in Australia where the development of a brushless gold mining pump is well under way. I want this pump to be a real option for those of us who want powerful suction on a small electric gold dredge, or to be able to run a full size highbanker without the noise.

Stealth dredging has never seemed so appealing since after spending a week next to an un-muffled straight piped 8" gold dredge that's been running almost non stop :)
