In this video, I demonstrate how to repair a 2007 aluminum MacBook Pro 15" — the old hard drive (the HDD spinning disk type) was on its last legs, and I put in a new SATA SSD (SanDisk Ultra II), giving this decade-old Mac a breath of new life!

Sorry about some of the audio sync problems—I was having a little trouble with my recording software and the audio tracks from my two recorders were a bit out of sync :(

I'll also be posting a similar video of a 2011 15" Aluminum Unibody MacBook Pro soon!
