How Dorodango was born! Discover the history of Dorodango #dorodango
You’ve learned how dorodango was born in Japan! 😊✨ Making dorodango truly requires mental strength and focus to achieve a beautiful finish. This art has such a positive influence on children in Japan that some schools, from kindergartens to elementary schools, include dorodango in their curriculum. When we were in Japan, my child also made dorodango at preschool! All the kids were so absorbed, quietly entering their own zones of focus, cherishing the treasures they created with their own hands.
Here is the website of Mr. Mitani, a plaster craftsman living in Kyoto, Japan. He’s also on Instagram, so be sure to check it out!

Around 700 AD is not the Renaissance period, but rather the early Middle Ages! I apologize for the mistake 🥹
