Install JetPack 7.1 on Jetson AGX Thor

JetPack 7.1 GA is available for the Jetson AGX Thor. In this guide, we go through three cases. First upgrade from 7.0 EA to 7.1 GA. Second, we flash and install JetPack 7.1 from a USB flash drive with a ISO image. Finally, we show how to flash the AGX Thor through the command line (CLI) from a x86 host PC running Ubuntu.

$ sudo apt-get install -y nvidia-container-toolkit=${NVIDIA_CONTAINER_TOOLKIT_VERSION} nvidia-container-toolkit-base=${NVIDIA_CONTAINER_TOOLKIT_VERSION} libnvidia-container-tools=${NVIDIA_CONTAINER_TOOLKIT_VERSION} libnvidia-container1=${NVIDIA_CONTAINER_TOOLKIT_VERSION} --allow-downgrades

Untar rootfs :

sudo tar xpfv Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R38.4.0_aarch64.tbz2 -C Linux_for_Tegra/rootfs
