In video "Improvised Reversible Fuel Cell" I try to make a home made fuel cell from available materials. The reversible fuel cell make some hydrogen and oxygen when I apply some current to the cell (reverse action /electrolysis of water). A carbon material store some of the hydrogen by adsorption. After some time I disconnect the power supply and connect some load to the fuel cell (el. motor 3V/300mA). Better fuel cell you will get if you use some catalyst like platinum, cobalt / cobalt oxide, iridium, etc. But in this case these catalyst are expensive. You can also use some small amount of graphene or carbon nanotubes if you want.
To make water more conductive you can add a little of acid or alkaline additive. In this case your power input will be also a bit lower.
