In this video we will be having a closer look at Smart Home systems. Now smart homes allow you to for example control the lights, blinds or thermostats from afar with your smartphone. But not only that, you can also create useful applications like turning off all lights when you leave the house. It is pretty handy, but it can also be an expensive thing to have. I was quoted 30.000€ for my house with a KNX system. So I declined and I am currently retrofitting using Shelly. But what are KNX and Shelly and how do they compare? Let's find out and while we are at it, let's upgrade my Friend's House!
