This video is just to show the process of installing my 3D printed closed face impeller on a Seaflo 3700GPH bilge pump. I calculate about a 20% increase in suction through the two inch subsurface gold dredge that I designed.
This impeller is not required to make the dredge work, but if you would like the bonus suction power, you are welcome to give it a try!
You can purchase an impeller from my website: https://www.utmostoutdoors.com/shop-1/p/closed-face-impeller-for-seaflo-3700gph-bilge-pump-physical-product

Update: After comparing prices in Canada, I tested my 3d Printed impeller with the 3000gph bilge pump from Vevor.ca and found that it fits perfectly. Using a power meter it seems to use the exact same wattage as the Seaflo brand pump does. It appears the 3000gph and 3700gph pump are essentially the same, just rated with different outputs by different brands for some reason. This is a promising sign that the impeller may fit other brands of bilge pump this size.
