We took a piece of wood destined for the fire pit and a handful of bottle tops and turned them into this live-edge coffee table with recycled plastic bowties. It was wicked fun combining some woodworking with plastic for this one, and we think the bow ties give a really nice pop of colour to the cookie.
But the stars of the show for this build were without a doubt our @triton_tools routers. Namely, the MOF001 which absolutely blasted through the flattening of our firewood slab, and then the trim router which, with the plunge base chucked on, made it super easy to precisely route out the pocket for the bowtie.
We then popped it on some simple hairpin legs, to leave the top to do the talking, and our waste material project was done! What do you think? 🎀
