A mini-documentary about some of my historic research into Alaskan Railroads. These are the smaller and shorter railways and tramways that once served mines, canneries, and small towns around the state. Although these short lines are often overlooked, they were an important part of early Alaska history. Remnants of some of these lines can still be found hiding in the woods and on the tundra, including old steam locomotives and other artifacts.
