Did the DIY Plant Pot Swarm Traps Work? Why did I design a Diy plant pot swarm trap? well, last year I built 20 5 frame NUC swarm boxes to catch Honeybee swarms, However, by the end of the season, I was down to just 5. The other 15 Nuc swarm traps had been stolen. I also found that being 18mm plywood they were very heavy when trying to get 15 ft from a tree.

In this little video, we take a look at a few of the DIY Plant Pot Swarm Traps to see if there was any interest in them. It's only a short episode but it will explain whether or not it is worth you building these very inexpensive traps.
