A look inside a typical bluetooth controlled downlight that integrates with the Tuya app (or others with Tuya compatibility) for control over intensity, colour temperature and RGB colour.

This was even simpler than I was expecting.

The module inside this has hackability, as it will work from 12V at reduced power (the original supply is 13.6V, although that drops under load). There is a lack of proper heatsink continuity in this light, so it might actually be a good candidate for customisation.

Power data is as follows:-
Any white at 100% = 5W
RGB at full = 3.6W
Red at full = 1.5W
Green at full = 1.4W
Blue at full = 1.4W
Standby power is 0.75W with the circuitry passing 13mA.
