Panning the Crush, In search of the gold source.

After crushing the gold ore, we took it to our local creek to pan it out and see if there was any indication of gold in the quartz vein. Any gold left in the gold pan at all would be a positive indicator of the source of this gold. No gold left in the gold pan would not tell us anything because this ore was just a small sample from one of many different veins on this site.
