In this episode of the e-dirt bike build series, I finally tackle something I’ve struggled with for years.

Instead of messing around with small printers, fiberglass molds, and glued-together puzzle pieces, I’m using the Anycubic Kobra S1 Max with the ACE 2 Pro multi-colour system to print full-scale fairing and fender mockups right here in the shop.

This machine brings a few big advantages for prototyping:

Massive 350×350×350mm build volume
CoreXY design for better speed and stability
350°C hotend + heated chamber (65°C) for engineering materials
Multi-colour printing + active filament drying
AI camera monitoring with remote notifications

With that, I’m able to print full-size fairings in one piece so I can test fit everything before committing to molds and save a ton of time, material, and frustration.

I walk through:

* Scaling and finishing the CAD models
* Multi-colour slicing workflow (Orca-based slicer)
* Print settings, time comparisons, and tradeoffs
* Printing + assembling the mockups
* Final test fit on the bike

Next step: turning these into vacuum-formed ABS parts for the final build.

Got a Colour Scheme Idea?

Drop it in the comments — I haven’t locked anything in yet.

Battery build is coming next — I’ve finished the cell testing + balancing rack, just wrapping up the video now.
