To build wealth, you have to be patient. To lose weight, you have to be patient. To scale the mountain of success, you have to be patient.

We've heard this since we were kids and are regularly told this by experts in every field. If you want something big, you're going to have to play the long game and be patient to get there.

But the conversation often ends here. We're told that we need patience, but we aren't told how to build it.
