I do a second hot Aqua Regia boil to extract more of the gold from the solids. Once cooled, I filter out the solids from the gold-bearing solution, precipitate the pure gold with ferrous sulfate, then melt the resulting pure gold powder with an oxy/acetylene torch to produce a beautiful 24k pure gold button.
