Hanna and I moved from a 1,200 square ft. apartment to a less than 200 square ft. Airstream. We got rid of more than 75% of our stuff, and it's largely thanks to Marie Kondo.

Getting rid of things can be extremely difficult, especially if you're sentimental like us. But there are a few mindset shifts that will help you through this process.
Our favorite part of Marie's book was when she discussed how objects have a purpose and most of the time that purpose has an expiration date. Our things aren't meant to stick around forever, and that's OK.
By recognizing an objects value and purpose, we can better let it go when the time comes.
