This year, to prepare for a kitchen remodel which will require us to move our washer and dryer, and all kitchen appliances, I worked on building a 'temporary' laundry area in the basement, and also a place where we can plug in another appliance.
Part one is the electrical work; running a 30A 2-phase circuit for our electric dryer, and a 20A circuit for the clothes washer and another kitchen appliance (using a GFCI/AFCI breaker in my 75A Square D Homeline subpanel).
Soon I'll be working on the plumbing phase, for a new basement wash basin (with cold *and* hot water, yay!), the washer hookups, and a dishwasher hookup (optional, if it works out there).
Recorded using my open source pi-timelapse application with a Raspberry Pi Zero plugged into a 10,000 mAh USB battery pack.
