How deep will your detector see gold? - Expert reveals all

I get comments all the time about “How deep will your detector go?” Its not a simple question like many assume it is. People who know nothing about detectors ask it as if it were a single number. Like this detector will go 9 inches but this other one will go 14. There is no one answer of how deep some detector will go. It’s a complex thing involving a number of factors, so I thought I’d do a video on detector depth and why there is no one number.
There are 4 main things that affect the depth of detection of a target. They are: 1) size and nature of the target, 2) the iron minerals of the soil; 3) Size of the coil; 4) the detector itself.
