The Minnesota DNR Hates This One Weird Boat!

The DNR says my Tuggy sandbox is "not a homemade boat" and refuses to to register it! (anything with a motor has to be registered here regardless of length, so I can't use it without that sticker). After several attempts and phone calls with various people, the only reason they can give is that a sandbox isn't a "raw material", therefore the boat isn't homemade. However, barrels, pallets, etc are "raw materials" and can be made into boats. It doesn't really make sense to me, I think they mostly just don't want other people making these!

Leave your comments below about what I should do next with Tuggy now that it's officially not a boat! (And please don't hassle the DNR, they're nice people and are usually really chill about boats :-) )
