We Overloaded the Truck with Ocean Picture Stone! What's Hiding Inside?

We're back at the Ocean Picture Stone quarry, and this time we're collecting as much of this beautiful stone as we can carry! After all the recent excavator work exposed fresh material, it's finally time to see what treasures we can bring home!

With my truck in the shop getting a new engine, I called on Cyle from Crux Prospecting to help get us out to the claim. Our mission today was to stock up for the upcoming Christmas season, collecting enough Ocean Picture Stone to make our incredibly popular one-pound chunks, along with thousands of smaller specimens for our annual $25 Christmas Specials!

And did we ever find a lot of rock! The newly exposed material was fantastic, and we kept finding more and more beautiful pieces. In fact, we collected so much that Cyle's truck was overloaded, and we actually had to stop collecting! With no more room for rocks, we spent some time exploring other parts of the claim before heading home.

But the adventure doesn't end at the quarry!

Back at my cutting shop, I'll take you behind the scenes and show you how I turn these rough rocks into beautiful collector specimens. You'll get to see the cutting process as we slice into the freshly collected Ocean Picture Stone, revealing the incredible colours and patterns hidden inside. You never really know what you're going to find until that saw cuts through the stone!
